Who we serve
Our focus at RMTS is the smaller shops in and around Danville, Illinois: the offices, storefronts, small shops, and family-run operations that need real IT management but can’t justify a full-time IT department or a big-city managed services contract. We’ve spent years in a range of IT roles across different environments, and our goal is to deliver that experience in bite-sized packages, so an owner can hand off the IT environment and get on with running the business, knowing someone reliable is managing it.
How we work
We don’t cut corners. We tell you what we can and can’t do, and if we can’t do it, we find someone who can. There are no hidden agendas here, and we’re not in this to price you out of getting help. We come into your environment, build it or fix it to industry standards based on your needs, and then manage it for you for a fee. The level of service you choose determines your price; it’s as simple as that. To keep that fair on both sides, we offer four tiers of managed service. Anything that falls outside your tier’s scope, along with one-off projects, is billed at $80 per hour in one-hour blocks to keep things simple.
Our mission is to give small businesses the same standard of IT management and cybersecurity the big ones rely on, at a price that fits the business they’ve built. That means sitting down with owners, walking them through their technology without the jargon, and then building and managing an environment that keeps them safe. This isn’t about doing what the next guy won’t. It’s about making sure the shop down the street doesn’t lose everything to something that could have been prevented.
